“Kodkväll” (Code night)
KO Cloud Edition – ASP.NET Core on GCP
Welcome to “Kodkväll” (Code night) KO Cloud Edition – ASP.NET Core on GCP
ASP.NET Core is the open-source version of ASP.NET, that runs on macOS, Linux, and Windows. ASP.NET Core was first released in 2016 and is a re-design of earlier Windows-only versions of ASP.NET. Does it sounds interesting to learn more about ASP.NET Core, want to test to run and deploy ASP.NET Core applications on a none Microsoft platform like Google Cloud? If so, this event is for you!
The purpose of this session is to do “10 000 feet” fly-by of ASP.NET Core. We will start at the top and review the high-level concepts and basic components of ASP.NET Core. In addition, we will do a few deep dives and check out how to develop in ASP.NET Core. We will start with a short presentation and then we will do two labs where you will get the opportunity to try out and test to create an app and deploy it to Google Cloud.
As usual, this will be a fast-paced evening with “Capgemini/Sogeti friends" where we together learn new things.
Who can / should participate?
This evening is open to all employees in the Capgemini group but the primary audience are developers and architects that would like to get hands-on experience in creating and deploying “ASP.NET Core” applications on a none Windows based environment.
