In true #addher spirit, we want to shine a light on the amazing women in IT and Tech across Sweden, that’s why we arrange the #addher awards. Nominate your favourites in one or more of our five categories. Together, we’ll spotlight and generously celebrate the women who truly stand out.

#addher is a network for all women in the IT and tech industry, launched back in 2010 by Sogeti and co-run since 2019 with sister company Capgemini, #addher has grown rapidly and is now one of Sweden’s largest networks for women in IT.

The goal of #addher is to empower women in tech, in all roles, by giving them visibility, encouraging them to take up space, and attracting more women to our industry. And as we all know: actions speak louder than words.

In addition to in-person meetups in 18 cities, #addher runs a mentorship programme, its own podcast, and in 2022 we launched the #addher awards, which resulted in nearly 1,000 (!) women being nominated. Naturally, the awards are now an annual tradition.

Through the #addher awards, YOU help make women in Sweden’s IT and tech scene more visible – giving space to those who inspire and engage.
It gives them a boost of energy, and together we proudly showcase role models who can help attract even more women to the industry and actively drive gender balance. A win–win–win!

Both women and men are welcome to nominate one or more women in each category. So don’t hold back – nominate as many as you like when voting opens again this autumn.

Our five nomination categories

In the following categories, you can nominate one or more women in IT/Tech who truly deserve to be celebrated.

Role Model

She is…

An IT woman who inspires and engages, is generous and lifts others through the motto “seen – heard – acknowledged” and is a strong magnet that attracts women to the IT industry. A role model that many would like to have as a mentor and who has a large network. She can be a leader and is otherwise often an informal leader.

Visionary

She is…

An IT woman who is always at the forefront of the latest technology. She keeps an eye on trends, maybe even creates them herself. She is innovative, driven and leads others forward. She is often a speaker at events as she can wow her audience and with conviction and passion, paints the future.

Valuemaker

She is…

An IT woman who delivers. She is passionate about creating value quickly and is the one who manages to get everyone to take joint responsibility and together achieve goals. She is the one who always rolls up her sleeves and make things happen. She is like water and reaches goals regardless of the obstacles that may appear on the road.

Superstar

She is…

An IT woman who stands out and whose star shine shines brightly in one or more areas. She is a passionate expert that others want to keep up with and learn from. She may have been in the industry for many years or is an upcoming rising star. She is knowledgeable, curious, and good at sharing her expertise.

Energizer

She is…

An IT woman, full of energy, who everyone wants to work with. She is a team player who makes everyone happy and have fun at work, or in the project. She is one of those who makes it difficult to change employers because you want her near you. She sparkles, spreads joy and gives positive feedback. She is a social genius who stands out and is visible.

Winner Events

Winners are selected both nationally and in all our #addher locations across the country. A national jury, along with local jury groups, selects winners for each category and location. The national winners are announced on social media and celebrated locally at in-person events in each #addher city.
