There are many stars in Sweden’s testing sky and we want to make sure they shine even brighter.
Across the country, you now have the chance to nominate outstanding testers in one of five categories: Valuemaker, Hero, Superstar, P(AI)oneer and Agentic Buddy. Who will you nominate?

Together, we’re shining a spotlight on testers who go the extra mile – with the TestExpo Awards. Chances are, someone already comes to mind. Maybe it’s a colleague, someone in your project team, a speaker you’ve seen at an event, or an inspiring voice you follow on social media. Nominations close on 10 October.

Valuemaker

This is a tester who always delivers. It is a person passionate about creating value, preferably together with others, and who consistently aims for the highest possible quality. That in a forward-leaning approach leverages AI to deliver high quality – faster. Fearless, agile, and goal-oriented, this person is like water: always finding solutions and a way forward. This individual is a tireless advocate for the importance of testing and quality assurance throughout organizations’ digital journeys.

Superstar

This is a tester who truly stands out, driven by a deep passion for testing and quality assurance in every shape and form. It’s an expert with either broad or highly specialized expertise, that stay on top of trends, especially how AI is transforming the profession. A passionate thought leader that others want to follow, listen to, and learn from. Whether a established professional or a rising star, this tester helps elevate emerging testing roles in the AI era and raises the status of testing as a profession.

Hero

This is a tester who loves finding bugs, solving challenges, and bringing clarity to complex solutions. Customer-focused, but with a special emphasis on the end user, she/he helps create world-class user experiences, likely with the support of AI. It is a true hero, either experienced or relatively new to the field, who is passionate about quality at every stage. It is an individual that strives to be best-in-test and is often an unsung talent who deserves far more visibility and recognition.

P(AI)oneer

This is a tester at the very forefront, curiously exploring and embracing AI to evolve their craft. By challenging established ways of working and leveraging the latest technologies, it is a person who drive development forward – from testing as control, to quality as innovation. This is someone who demonstrates how working alongside AI leads to better solutions, delivered faster and smarter. It is likely also an expert in testing AI-empowered solutions.

Agentic Buddy

This category celebrates the AI agent that has become a natural part of the team. Rather than replacing humans, it works side by side with colleagues, relieving them of repetitive, time-consuming, and monotonous tasks related to testing IT solutions. This 24/7 testing companion contributes to faster, higher-quality delivery and strengthens the overall capacity of the team. With our AI agent, we can achieve more.

Nominees will receive an email with details about their nomination – including the reason they were nominated and who nominated them (unless the nominator chose to remain anonymous).


Each nominee will also receive a graphic they can proudly share on social media to celebrate their nomination and thank the person who nominated them.


The winners in each category will be announced on 15 October and will receive a winner’s plaque and a diploma.
